Unlike the microneedinling pen which can be a little too harsh on the delicate skin around the eyes, the Scarlet RF is gentle enough to use around the eye to tighten and lift the skin.
Not only is it a great facial treatment, but you can use it to treat different areas of the body as well, including the arms, knees, stomach, and more! The Scarlet RF can be used to tighten sagging skin and to treat any scars on the body.
What to expect during your Scarlet RF appointment:
During your Scarlet RF appointment, your provider will apply numbing cream on the area about 45 minutes before your scheduled treatment time. This allows the numbing cream to completely sink in and take effect.
Once you are done numbing, the provider will have you wash off all of the numbing cream, and they will begin the treatment! The treatment takes about 30 minutes for the face and 15 minutes for the neck area.
What to expect after your Scarlet RF appointment:
One of the best parts of this treatment is that there is little to no downtime with the Scarlet RF. You may experience a little redness or swelling after treatment, but nothing significant. This should go away within 24-72 hours. You are able to return to your normal daily activities right after your Scarlet RF treatment!
You will notice some visible tightening immediately after your first session, but we do recommend a series of at least 3 treatments for the best results. The results last from 6 months to a year.

Does it hurt?
The procedure itself feels warm. For a few hours after your treatment, redness and some swelling can be expected. Your skin may feel like you have had a mild sunburn.
Recovery time & side effects?
There is some social downtime, although patients can return to their regular daily activities immediately following treatment. Unlike other microneedling treatments, there is little to no bleeding or sensitivity. Though you may be red with a windburned-like appearance, this will resolve in a day.

When can I expect results?
